Arty Parties
Bands of sparkly pink clad, shrieking banshees, conga-ing down the street whilst damaging your ear drums attempting to sing “it’s raining men” are a summer certainty. The warm weather means its wedding season and weddings mean stags and hens.
If you can’t stand the cheesiness of a traditional hen party or just can’t face another tacky hen do then we might have found the perfect alternative.
Whilst the stags mosey on down to the local Stringfellows, increasing numbers of hens are starting to bring the eye candy home for themselves.
This isn’t just some buff stud in chaps, spinning round a freestanding pole in your living room. This is Simon Lloyd – Male Life Model.
Yes, you heard right. Life Model – as in Life Drawing. These tasteful and cultured events devised by the ever so handsome male model Simon are a wonderfully different and entertaining solution to your girly party problems.
You get your friends together, arrange nibbles and drinkies and of course you’re drawing pads and crayons and bobs your uncle, Simon turns up and the fun begins.
Abit like a life drawing class with your best mates and no tutor. Simon is an experienced model with a background in art so is sure to give you a helping hand along the way but the idea is to try your hand at something new whilst having some quality time with the girls.

INTERVIEW WITH SIMON November 2010-Our special hen party life model
Too cheeky? It needn't be. Life Drawing sophistication with Simon
Events Incorporated has the pleasure to work with Simon, whose fun personality, coupled with years of experience has been delighting groups with Life Drawing for over 7 years. He's certainly one that is used to getting a bit chilly!
We asked him a few questions:
How did you get into this profession?
In truth I actually had no vocational leaning towards becoming an artist's life model until I attended a London drama school at the tender age of 19. I had already been working as a photographic fashion model since the age of 16 after being spotted in a well-known fashion outlet by a model scout, so was used to photographic modeling!
I was sharing a house with five other drama students at the time and one of the girls returned home and joined me for a chat. I asked her what she had been doing that evening and she responded that she had been on a modeling job locally. I then told her about my photographic modeling work to date and she suddenly laughed and told me that it was not fashion modeling but life modeling for the local London art college.
She then informed me that the students at the college would be more than happy to put me on my path to modeling for nearly all the London art and fashion schools and various events leading from this work.
My hen party modeling came about by chance when I was contacted via my website by an Australian ex-art student who phoned me out-of-the blue one day, to tell me that her sister had just graduated from the London College of Fashion and she was due to get married in a few months. The girls' mother was in fact an art teacher in Brisbane, Australia and was flying out to London for the hen party with several friends and relatives and had asked the sister to find a handsome male life model with a decent body to model for her sister's hen party!
Well, I knew that I had a decent body but wasn't sure about the handsome bit but I naturally went along with it...........I have actually been working as a professional fully-clothed editorial model too since the age of 16.
I was quite surprised when I took the call and although I was used to modeling nude for several all-female art groups I had not even considered modeling for hen parties but the whole concept of course appealed to me and naturally thought that it would be rude to say no and the rest is history........ When I came off the phone I thought to myself " Now why didn't I think of that several years ago!! "
Who normally books you?
I am usually booked by professional ladies with vocations such as teachers, doctors, solicitors, accountants and PA's as the life drawing is such a sophisticated, unique, chilled-out and artistic alternative form of entertainment for hen night parties and I am also regularly booked by private ladies art groups or "ladies who lunch" gatherings.
What makes you different from the rest?
I am also a professional clothed fashion, editorial model which is totally different from being just a life model for art colleges thus giving me the edge when ladies view my photograph images taken at hen parties or eventually meet me in person. I am a member of the high intelligence organisation MENSA too so I am very articulate, eloquent, well-spoken,polite and above all totally professional.
I think that I am probably one of the least narcissistic that you would ever meet and have a great sense of fun combined with charismatic cheek and charm so I really enjoy having fun meeting the ladies and they always tell me how non-threatening and female-friendly the life drawing is.
You most certainly live up to expectations and your guarantee as all the girls agreed that meeting you and drawing your physique was the best part of our hen party. Thank you once again Simon and wow..... A model with intelligence, charm style and personality is an absolute bonus. Cheeky, very charming and a true gentleman!" Tasha
Do you ever get embarrassed?
In truth I would have to answer NO!! I do have a very outgoing, effervescent personality combined with my own unique energy which seems to compliment my hen party modeling and enhance my own personal esteem when meeting and model for the all-female life drawing groups.
What do you love the most about your job?
Easy question to answer-absolutely everything!! But if I have to describe in more detail then it would be traveling to locations that I would not normally visit and beautiful houses in the countryside meeting some lovely people.
Why do you like working with Events incorporated?
I really enjoy working with Events Incorporated because they are a proven professional, well-organised business when it comes to arranging my bookings for ladies life drawing sessions. All the staff are extremely friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and of course well-versed in arranging and organising event hospitality. All my previous bookings with Events Incorporated have been meticulously well-planned with amazing attention to detail.
